Briercliffe 4x4 Centre Disclaimer
Off road driving can be dangerous and all persons using the site must take the utmost care. No liability
whatever can attach to Briercliffe 4x4 Centre, any employees or the landowner for death or injury to
any person on this site or damage to or loss of any vehicle or personal property. Due to the dangerous
nature of this activity death, injury, damage or loss may be caused and any such liability is hereby
expressly excluded. Use of any part of the site by any vehicle does not imply that it is safe for any
other vehicle to do so. Be aware that the terrain of the site changes constantly, areas that have; on
other visits been straightforward to tackle may now be problematic or dangerous. Usually standard
vehicle insurance is invalid.
When using the site the following rules apply:
1. Under no circumstances should you attempt anything that you do not feel capable of or that
may be hazardous to yourself or your passengers. Vehicles must be driven with primary regard
to safety with consideration to others and responsibly. Only drive sections equal to your ability
and that of your vehicle. If in doubt DON’T attempt it, even if others have gone before you. The
driver is solely responsible for any action taken on the site.
2. Only drivers over eighteen years old with a full, valid driving license allowed.
3. Only road compliant vehicles allowed. The management has the right, under their discretion to refuse entry to any vehicle they deem not road worthy.
4. No driving on any pastureland, drivers doing so will be asked to leave.
5. Site speed limit is 5mph.
6. Please take your litter with you.
7. Seat belts or harnesses must be worn at all times. Children must wear appropriate child
restraints at all times.
8. If required Briercliffe 4x4 Centre will attempt to extricate a vehicle, which is stuck, but any liability for injury to persons or damage to vehicles or property on any advice or assistance given is expressly excluded.

10. Any directions given by an associate of Briercliffe 4x4 Centre must be followed.
11. No refund of all or part of the entry fee can be made if a customer’s visit is foreshortened for any reason. We reserve the right to refuse entry or evict persons for any reason.
12. Drivers must not be under the influence of alcoholic drink or drugs.
13. No spectators allowed. An adult must accompany any child under the age of sixteen.
14. If after four attempts an obstacle cannot be negotiated it must be abandoned.
15. Certain areas of this site may be operated on a one-way system.
16. Please respect the neighbours when leaving.
I solely agree to abide by the rules and regulations of this site and understand that any
action that I undertake whilst at Briercliffe 4x4 Centre is entirely at my own risk. I agree
to this disclaimer and accept full responsibility and liability for any injury, damage or
loss to members of my party, property and of other third parties arising directly or
indirectly from my actions.
